Bowlegged Cowboy and Betty

January 23, 2026

If ya know,ya know.

(Verse 1)
There’s a bowlegged cowboy with a crooked-ass grin,
Walks like he lost a fight with a horse and lost again.
Boots point east, knees point west,
Doctor said, “Son, you’re structurally a mess.”
He ain’t fast, he ain’t sleek,
But he struts like a rooster on payday week.
One tooth flashin’ like a busted headlight,
Thinks every mirror’s flirtin’ with him at night.
(Chorus)
He’s a bowlegged cowboy, spread wider than law,
Big Betty hit the porch and the porch said “nah.”
She’s four hundred pounds of “don’t test me, dear,”
When she sits down hard, the beer jumps clear.
They don’t walk in quiet — they arrive with sound,
Earthquake warning when Betty comes around.
(Verse 2)
Betty wears rhinestones like armor plate,
Snaps poppin’ off — Lord, they fight their fate.
She orders chili like it owes her money,
Adds hot sauce till it ain’t funny.
She laughs so loud the jukebox quits,
Bartender prays when she says “I’ll sit.”
Stool says “nope,” table says “damn,”
Floor just sighs like, “Here we go again.”
(Chorus)
He’s a bowlegged cowboy, spread wider than law,
Betty dances like gravity’s just a suggestion, y’all.
They broke two chairs and the floor gave sass,
Said, “I wasn’t built for all that ass.”
They don’t walk in quiet — they arrive with sound,
Earthquake warning when Betty comes around.

Verse 3

They tried slow dancin’ once — just once,
Whole room tilted like a sinking barge.
Cowboy hollered, “I got you, babe!”
She said, “Boy, please,” and rearranged his spine.
They kiss like demolition crews,
Somebody drops their drink — nobody moves.
When Betty leans in, time stands still,
Mostly ’cause folks are bracin’ for the kill.
(Bridge)
Bartender said, “Son, is this the plan?”
Cowboy said, “Sir, she’s a grown-ass woman, I’m a grown-ass man.”
If love’s a crime, lock ’em away,
But reinforce the jail and widen the doorway.
(Final Chorus)
He’s a bowlegged cowboy, proud as hell,
Betty’s got a gravity field scientists can’t tell.
They shake the walls, they bend the truth,
They scare the dogs and confuse the youth.
You can laugh, stare, clutch your pearls all you want to do —
But that’s true love, loud and bulletproof.
(Outro)
So if the ground rumbles and the lights flicker too,
That ain’t the weather — it’s Betty and Boo.
Bowlegs wide, big love steady,
God bless that cowboy… and DAMN Big Betty
